Little bitty ear

Check out my right ear! It still has some healing to do and the doctor might want to laser it a little in a year, depending how it takes shape, but.... isn't it GREAT?!!!! There is just a little bit of the hemangioma left inside and we don't think it is going to cause us any more trouble!

Our Big Leckrone Family Vacation

Sorry we haven't blogged in a while! Finn's first 48 hours were a little rough but after that you would never know he had anything done! He recovered so well that we were able to go on our vacation to Litchfield Beach with Grammy, Aunt Chris, and Uncle Jim. We had SO much fun and Finn got lots of extra TLC. He gets his stitches out Friday afternoon and we will have a photo of his ear very soon! Here are just some of the pictures from our GREAT trip! I can't wait to go on vacation again!

My surgery was an hour and a half and they were able to get almost all of the hemangioma. I was SO brave. I was even able to come home tonight! I am a little swollen from my IV, on some pain medication, and my throat is a little sore from my ventilation tube, but I am doing really well. I have to keep this stylish head gear on for a few days. Once it heals I will post a picture of my handsome new ear!

Finn Update

If you have noticed in recent pictures Finn's ear is bandaged again. His hemangioma ulcerated again and it is painful for him. We change the dressing on it twice a day. We did get some good news though. The plastic surgeon was able to move Finn's surgery up to this coming Tuesday! We are nervous, but so ready to put this behind him. Keep him in your thoughts and we will keep you posted.

Fun With Uncle Jim

We had so much fun visiting with our Uncle! We played cars, corn hole, went to the park, had a picnic, and played more cars! (Did I mention we played cars! A LOT!) Come back soon Uncle Jim!
