Sam has his boosterthon "fun run" fund raiser for Orchard Park Elementary Friday. He has been trying to get pledges all week from family and friends for his run (mostly for the door prizes!). I heard the following conversation today:

Sam: "Finn, will you sponsor me in the fun run?"

Finn: "Yes, I will give you$20!"

Mom: Finn, where are you going to get $20?

Sam: "From his allowance!"

Mom: Finn only gets $3 a week! That is a lot of allowance!

Sam: "Finn, $3 is really what I need, $3 is perfect!"

Finn: "Sam, I can give you whatever I want, I want to give you $80!"

Sam: $3 is just what I need!"

Finn: $3 it is. And G (his stuffed monkey) wants to give you $3!"

Sam: " YES! Mom, I have $6 whole dollars!!!!!"
